About the Opportunity:
We’re partnering with a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, known for delivering solutions for a range of industrial applications. Our client is seeking a motivated and technically-minded Technical Sales Representative to join their U.S. team. This hybrid role is based in Minneapolis and includes up to 30% travel to develop and support customer relationships across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a sales territory focused on magnesium-based chemical products for industrial use.

  • Develop strong relationships with customers in sectors such as manufacturing, water treatment, agriculture, and construction.

  • Provide technical support and insight on product performance, specifications, and applications.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D and product development, to deliver tailored solutions.

  • Present product offerings, proposals, and demos to current and prospective clients.

  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to drive business strategy.

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and contribute to sales forecasts and pipeline management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 1–2 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within industrial or chemical product markets.

  • Strong interest in industrial applications of chemical products and a desire to grow technical knowledge.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% and work effectively in a hybrid setting.

  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and a consultative approach to sales.
