About the Opportunity:
We’re partnering with a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, known for delivering solutions for a range of industrial applications. Our client is seeking a motivated and technically-minded Technical Sales Representative to join their U.S. team. This hybrid role is based in Minneapolis and includes up to 30% travel to develop and support customer relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a sales territory focused on magnesium-based chemical products for industrial use.
Develop strong relationships with customers in sectors such as manufacturing, water treatment, agriculture, and construction.
Provide technical support and insight on product performance, specifications, and applications.
Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D and product development, to deliver tailored solutions.
Present product offerings, proposals, and demos to current and prospective clients.
Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to drive business strategy.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and contribute to sales forecasts and pipeline management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–2 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within industrial or chemical product markets.
Strong interest in industrial applications of chemical products and a desire to grow technical knowledge.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel up to 30% and work effectively in a hybrid setting.
Self-starter with a growth mindset and a consultative approach to sales.
